How much does shipping cost?

We currently offer interstate shipping to the following States at the below flat rates:

  • $50.00 flat rate to NSW.
  • $100.00 flat rate to QLD.
  • $150.00 flat rate to VIC.

Some surcharges may apply on large items into regional or country areas. Please phone if you are unsure.

All surfboards shipped interstate will be shipped using Fastway, or TNT. Shipping takes up to 7 working days (Howie Shapes Surfboards cannot be held accountable for any late or damaged goods). We can offer insurance on shipping as an optional add-in, so for more info please contact us at howieshapes@gmail.com or 0414 388 881 before you purchase.

All surfboards will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and/or boxed for maximum protection during shipping. Although we take all the care we can, Howie Shapes Surfboards are NOT held accountable for products damaged in transit. Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address. Howie Shapes will not be held responsible for incorrectly entered delivery addresses.



What is your return policy for surfboards?

If you are ordering a custom made Howie Shapes surfboard, please note that it is manufactured specifically to your personal requirements, so we do not refund or exchange due to a ‘change of heart’.

Great care is taken by the team at Howie Shapes to package your surfboard and other items, to make sure that they arrive without sustaining any damage in transit. However, if your surfboard does arrive damaged, document the damages and notify us within 6 hours of receiving your package and we will work out the best solution for you.

That said, we will exchange your surfboard/s if we stuffed up – e.g. you do not receive what you ordered (e.g. you ordered a 6'0 but you received a 5’11) but only under the following terms:

  • You advise us in writing (email is preferred) within 7 days of receipt of the board,
  • We receive the returned board along with proof of purchase (i.e. copy of our invoice) within 30 days,
  • The surfboard is returned in the same condition as when you received it, i.e. it has not been ridden, no wax, grip or other materials have been applied,
  • The board is delivered back to the Howie Shapes office in the original packaging, wrapping and box it was sent to you in, with any fins enclosed.
  • We recommend you insure the return, as returned boards which arrive back to us damaged will not be refunded or exchanged.
  • Refunds or exchanges are not valid on any sale or discounted items.

What is your return policy for accessories and apparel?

If you have purchased full priced apparel or miscellaneous items that you are unhappy with (e.g. clothing or caps):

  • Notify us in writing (email is preferred) that you will be returning the goods and why. Returned items must be unworn or unused.
  • Pack all items with your invoice in a secure carton or reuse the original packaging. Please ensure that all boxed items are securely enclosed as we are not able to accept them if damaged.
  • For security and peace of mind, we strongly suggest insured registered post as Howie Shapes Surfboards is not liable for lost parcels. You are responsible for the cost of return post.
  • Once received in our warehouse, we will inspect and process the goods within 24 hours to ensure you receive your exchange/refund as quickly as possible. So you are kept informed, we will send you an email confirming your exchange or refund. Howie Shapes will ship your exchanged items back to you free of charge.
